Lovingly handmade on the NSW South Coast (Bulli), Veradee Designs was born from the ashes of a 20-plus year career in Journalism and PR that led to mental and physical burnout.

I craved making something with my hands and asked for a small pottery wheel as a birthday gift. It was the mindful meditation experience of creating with clay that re-ignited my passion and creativity, and I knew I was hooked! The possibilities are only limited by my imagination and I love creating homewares that are a little piece of art (in a mass produced world) designed for everyday use. 

Taking inspiration from the colours and features of the Illawarra Coast, each piece is carefully crafted on a pottery wheel or hand built from Australian clay and finished with brushed on food-safe glazes - a time consuming process but one that brings beautiful colour combinations. I use pastel hues that evoke a feeling of calm and tranquility.
